My 2010 Reading List (Since Every Bugger Else Is Doing One...)

(Listening to - Queen - Innuendo)

The premise is simple enough; Every time I finish a book, I'll put its author, title, the date I finished it, and occasionally a comment up here. This'll help me keep track of the books I've read, and give y'all something to mock. ("You liked THAT?! Weirdo!" etc.) Hopefully it'll encourage me to read more, too.

Without further ado, the list:

  1. Stephen King - On Writing - 07/01/10 (Writer? Buy this!)
  2. C.D. Yates - Doggone But Not Forgotten - 10/01/10 (Linky!) (Proceeds go to charity!)
  3. C.D. Yates - Kissing Trick - 12/01/10 (Linky!)

  9. Charlaine Harris - Definitely Dead - 20/02/10
  10. Charlaine Harris - All Together Dead - 25/02/10
  11. Charlaine Harris - From Dead To Worse - 02/03/10 (No more Sookie till the next one comes out in paperback. Bah!)
  12. C.E. Murphy - Walking Dead - 24/03/10
  13. Dave Barry - Tricky Business - 13/04/2010 (Bah, I've really slowed down of late...)

  22. David Sedaris - When You Are Engulfed In Flames - 19/9/2010

  29. Joe Abercrombie - Best Served Cold - 10/12/2010
  30. Christopher Moore - The Stupidest Angel - 28/12/2010

Aaaaaaaaaaaand, done!

30 is less than I would have liked, but it's more than the previous year, so I'm happy enough. The 2011 list is HERE. I'm hoping for more again.

That is one of my all-time favorite books. Also, my list is making me feel bad for not adding to it more rapidly.

Welcome to the reading list bandwagon :-) Looking forward to more books on your reading list, and every time you put a discworld book, I shall mock you. ;)

I love it! We gotta get you on Goodreads. You can even do it in Facebook!

I'm trying to read 365 books this year, but I'm 80ish books behind. :-(

I use Visualbookshelf on FB, but that's all. :)

365?!?!? I'll be lucky if I hit 100. ;-)

This is a good idea.

Maybe I'll steal it for my blog.

Indeedy. I've never kept track of the books I've read before, so I'm interested to see how many I get through. :-)

Good list so far. Read several of them, got few others, and others on my list. Some never heard of :-)
